John GilmoreJohn Gilmore

John graduated from Wilson High School where he was named Associated Press first-team big school all-state and first team all-county as a senior, and received the 1996 Wilson Male Athlete of the Year Award. He was a four-year Letterman at Penn State University where he received the Hall Foundation Award as the Nittany Lion’s Outstanding Senior as well as being named team Captain that year. John’s football career continued after graduating from Penn State when he was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 2002 NFL Draft, then signed by the Chicago Bears shortly after. John spent his first six seasons with the Chicago Bears until joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2008. John remained with the Bucs until 2011 when he signed with the New Orleans Saints for his final season, concluding an NFL career of a decade.

John was the recipient of the NAACP Community Impact Award as well as the Key to The City of Reading for his efforts in establishing the Gilmore | Henne Community Fund in 2010. In 2012, he had the distinguished honor of receiving the Penn State University Alumni Achievement Award and was also inducted into the Berks County Coaches Hall of Fame. In 2015, he was inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, Berks County Chapter.

John maintains an active role in multiple philanthropic causes, serving on the Board of Directors Family Resources, Inc., a nonprofit organization in Pinellas Park, Florida, whose belief and vision is that every child should be safe, every troubled teen deserves help, and every family torn apart in crisis should be given the opportunity to mend. He also serves as a Board Member for Bridgilance, based in New York, with a mission of connecting charitable organizations with underserved communities to address causes that impact them the most, such as health, career development and education. Additionally, John serves as Chair of the Ambassadors Committee with The Centre for Women, Inc., a nonprofit organization in Tampa, Florida that serves women, girls, families, and seniors with various programs to help them in times of need. He previously served on their Board of Directors.

John is currently working towards his M.B.A. at the University of Miami and is the Founder and Executive Director of Brandthumb, a boutique marketing agency focused on building brands and developing innovative strategies to achieve outstanding results. Brandthumb connects clients to a unique network of marketing experts, business professionals, and professional athletes to drive brand recognition and loyalty.



Chad HenneChad Henne

Chad Henne is a Wilson High School graduate, where he set the Pennsylvania District III all-time passing and touchdown records. He moved on to play quarterback for the Michigan Wolverines where he was a four-year letterman. He graduated with school records for career completions, attempts, passing yards, and touchdown passes. Chad was drafted in the 2008 NFL draft to the Miami Dolphins where he spent four seasons. In 2012, he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
